UNCA to Host Distinguished Poet Tyrone Williams

UNC Asheville will host a poetry reading and discussion by Tyrone Williams at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, in UNCA’s Laurel Forum, Karpen Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Williams, chair of the English Department at Xavier University in Cincinnati, is a distinguished scholar and poet whose poetry and criticism have been published in a variety of collections and journals. He is the author of two collections of poetry, including "C.C." and "Convalescence." Williams has won numerous awards for his work.
