UNCA to Hold Student Photography Exhibition

"Simply Southern," an exhibition of 17 photographs by UNC Asheville senior Jennifer Webster, will be on view May 3-17 at UNCA’s Blowers Gallery. An opening reception will be held from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in the gallery. The show and reception are free and open to the public.

Webster’s photography reflects her love for the South and her family. "During the exploration of this project I realized how much the land of Macon, Georgia and the things that are connected to it are a part of me," she said. "Simply Southern" is the culmination of Webster’s work toward a bachelor of arts degree at UNCA.
