UNCA to Hold Summer Graduation Reception July 22

Some 33 UNC Asheville graduating seniors will be honored at UNCA’s summer graduation reception at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, in UNCA’s Karpen Hall Lobby. UNCA Chancellor James H. Mullen and UNCA Academic Affairs Vice Chancellor Mark Padilla will speak. James Shields (class of 1975), UNCA Board of Trustees member and member of the National Alumni Advisory Council, will give a greeting to the new graduates. Music by David Bates and refreshments will follow the short program.

The graduates are invited to participate in the formal commencement ceremony on the Ramsey Library Terrace Saturday, May 8, 2004.
