2003 Faculty Awards Presented

The 2003 faculty awards were presented at the final faculty meeting in May and at commencement. The following awards were presented --

• Distinguished Teacher of the Year: Kevin Moorhead, chair and associate professor of environmental studies

• Feldman Professorship: Patricia Snoyer, associate professor of drama

• Feldman Professorship: Joe Sulock, professor of economics

• Excellence in Scholarship or Creative Expression: Dan Millspaugh, professor of art

• Excellence in Scholarship or Creative Expression: Brian Butler, assistant professor of philosophy

• University Service Award: Linda Nelms, professor of management and accountancy

• Excellence in the Humanities: Sophie Mills, chair and associate professor of classics

• Excellence in the Natural Sciences: Bert Holmes, chair and professor of chemistry

• Excellence in the Social Sciences: Jeff Konz, associate professor of economics

• Excellence by Un-tenured Faculty: Elizabeth Snyder, assistant professor of foreign languages

• Excellence by Non-Faculty Member: Byron Hedgepeth, adjunct instructor of music
