UNC Asheville Hosts College Night September 18 at Asheville Mall;
130 Colleges, Universities to Participate
Thinking about attending a four-year university, two-year college or
signing up for military service? A good starting point may be the annual
fall College Night to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the
Asheville Mall.
Coordinated by UNC Asheville, College Night offers the opportunity to
meet representatives from 130 colleges and universities, including
two-year colleges, as well as representatives from branches of the
military. Area high school guidance counselors, financial aid officers
from two- and four-year colleges, and representatives from the College
Fund of North Carolina, the North Carolina Teaching Fellows program and
the ACT testing organization will be on hand to answer questions.
The event is sponsored by the Asheville Mall and co-hosted by Asheville
City Schools, Buncombe, McDowell and Madison county schools.
