UNCA to Host Program on the Western Musical Tradition

UNC Asheville’s Humanities Program will host a special program on "The Western Musical Tradition from Ambrose to Bach" at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the Cathedral of All Souls in Biltmore Village. The event is free and open to the public.

Charles McKnight, UNCA associate professor of music, will give a lecture on the Western musical tradition. Demonstrations and performances by organist Kyle Ritter and Asheville-area a capella vocal group Pastyme will also be featured.
