"Modern Primitive" Exhibition Opens in
UNCA's University Gallery

"Modern Primitive" On View May 3-21

An exhibition entitled "Modern Primitive," featuring large ceramic sculptures by UNC Asheville senior Jason Weatherspoon, will be on view May 3-21 in UNCA’s University Gallery. The show is the culmination of Weatherspoon’s work toward his bachelor of fine arts degree at UNCA. An opening reception will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the gallery, which is located on the first floor of Owen Hall.

The gallery is open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays. Admission is free. For more information, call UNCA’s Art Department at 828/251-6559.
