UNCA Music Department Hosts Gospel Celebration

The UNC Asheville Music Department will host a gospel celebration at 4 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at UNCA’s Lipinsky Auditorium. The event is open to the public; a $5 donation will be suggested at the door.

The UNCA Ebony Gospel Ensemble, under the direction of Leonard Smith, will be joined by a number of regional choirs and ensembles for this special event. The choirs will perform classic gospel music selections as well as new arrangements, including "My Life Is In Your Hands" by Kirk Franklin and "The Holy Place" by Ricky Dillard.
