| For Immediate Release January 31, 2001 "What Is...Philosophy?" Lecture Series Continues Feb. 7 in Hendersonville UNCA Assistant Philosophy Professor Brian Butler will continue the "What Is...Philosophy?" Community Lecture Series with a talk on "What is the Nature and Importance of Law? What is Legal Philosophy?" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, at UNCA’s Kellogg Center, 11 Broyles Rd., Hendersonville. An open discussion will follow his talk. The program is the seventh lecture in the 10-part series sponsored by the Institute for Applied Philosophy in conjunction with UNCA’s Philosophy Department. The series promotes better understanding of philosophy for the general public and explores some specific areas of philosophy at work in people’s lives. This series is open to the public.
