UNCA's "What Is...Philosophy?" Lecture Series Concludes May 2

Duane Davis, UNC Asheville assistant philosophy professor, and Gordon Wilson, UNCA philosophy department chair, will conclude the "What is Philosophy?" Community Lecture Series with a talk on "What is Hermeneutics?" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at UNCA’s Kellogg Center, 11 Broyles Rd., Hendersonville. An open discussion will follow their talk.

The program is the final lecture in the 10-part series sponsored by the Institute for Applied Philosophy in conjunction with UNCA’s Philosophy Department. The series promotes better understanding of philosophy for the general public and explores some specific areas where philosophy is at work in people’s lives. This series is open to the public. A donation of $5 will be suggested at the door.
