| For Immediate Release July 9, 2001 UNC Asheville to Hold Summer Commencement July 15 UNC Asheville Chancellor James H. Mullen will be the keynote speaker at UNCA’s summer commencement ceremony at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 15, in Karpen Hall Lobby. Some 26 students will receive degrees. A reception for graduates and their families will be held in Laurel Forum, Karpen Hall immediately following the ceremony. The event is open to the public and no tickets are required for admission.
