UNC Asheville’s art department will hold two gallery openings as well as a ceramics sale on Friday, Nov. 30. All events are free and open to the public.

Opening receptions in UNCA’s University Gallery and Owen Hall Second Floor Gallery will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

An exhibition entitled "Dislocated Reintegration," featuring some 20 ceramic sculptures by UNCA senior Hunter Stamps, will be on view November 30-December 17 in UNCA's University Gallery, located on the first floor of Owen Hall. The show is the culmination of the Stamps’ work toward his bachelor of fine arts degree at UNCA.

Laura Scrofani will present "Organic Fussion," an exhibition of 10 ceramic sculptures, November 30-December 18 in UNCA’s Owen Hall Second Floor Gallery. The show is the culmination of Scrofani’s work toward her bachelor of arts degree at UNCA.

A wide variety of functional and decorative ceramics crafted by UNCA students will be on sale with desserts and coffee from 6-9 p.m. on all three floors of Owen Hall. Proceeds will benefit UNCA’s art department and UNCA’s student art group Art Front.

Regular gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.
