UNC Asheville’s Continuing and Professional Education program offers several courses this fall to help people make life transitions. Classes are open to the community.
"The Power of Ritual" explores the value that rituals have played in cultures by creating community, focused intention, rites of passage, love and much more. Participants will learn the essential components of this powerful tool as they create rituals for themselves, their families and their businesses. This one day workshop will meet from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at UNCA.
"Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement" has added a second session based on high demand. This course offers a conservative approach to wise money management at the challenging time of retirement. This four-week course meets from 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesdays beginning November 6, at Reynolds High School.
Business leaders, executives, entrepreneurs and adults in transition, who want to bring out the best in themselves and to direct their lives, are using coaches. This one-day workshop will meet from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at UNCA.
