| For Immediate Release June 21, 2001 UNCA's College for Seniors to Offer Estate Planning Workshop July 9-12 UNC Asheville’s College for Seniors program will offer an estate planning workshop from 10 a.m.-noon July 9-12 on the UNCA campus. The class is open to all those who are interested. Attorney George Weinstein, a three-time guest on "Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser," will help participants better understand the new federal estate tax act. He will discuss effective estate planning, the proposed federal estate tax repeal, maintaining liquidity in estates, making gifts and how the new law will affect spousal transfers.
