UNC Asheville offices will be closed for the holidays Saturday, Dec. 22-Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002. Some offices will be open on a limited basis Monday, Dec. 31.

For safety and security reasons, the residence halls will close for winter break at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. They will reopen at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, for new students and 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 for returning students. UNCA’s Ramsey Library will be closed Saturday, Dec. 22 through Sunday, Dec. 30, with limited hours Monday, Dec. 17, through Tuesday, Jan. 16. The library will be closed on weekends during this time. For more information on library hours, call 828/251-6546.

Spring semester applications for freshmen and transfer students will be accepted through December 7; deadline for non-degree and visiting students is December 14.
