UNC Asheville’s Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday, August 21, and Wednesday, August 22, on the UNCA campus.

An orientation and campus tour for new members of the board will begin in Ramsey Library at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. A lunch for the entire board will follow in the private dining room of the Dining Hall, beginning at 12:30 p.m. The opening plenary session will be held at

2 p.m. and will include swearing in of new trustees and committee assignments. The board committees will meet at 2:15 p.m. in the following locations: Academic and Student Life Committee, Ramsey Library 41; External Affairs Committee, Ramsey Library 202; Finance and Real Property Committee in the Red Oak Room, Ramsey Library.

On August 22, the board will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. in the private dining room of the Dining Hall. The meeting of the full board will convene at 9:15 a.m. in the Ramsey Library’s Red Oak Room.

The meetings are open to the general public. Some items on the agendas of these meetings may be considered in closed session under the provisions of the North Carolina Open Meetings Act.
