UNCA to Offer Humanities Course at Blue Ridge Community College

UNC Asheville will offer one its four nationally acclaimed Humanities courses at Blue Ridge Community College’s main campus beginning Tuesday, Aug. 21. The course, "The Modern World, Mid-17th to Mid-20th Century," focuses on the scientific, political, economic and social revolutions of that time and their impact on philosophy, religion, literature and the arts.

The class will meet Tuesdays from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and yields four credit hours. The cost is $170.34 for tuition and a technology fee. The course will be taught using distance learning technology.
