UNCA Humanities Lecturer John McClain will continue the "What Is...Philosophy?" Community Lecture Series with a talk on "What Is It to Be a Citizen? What is Political Philosophy?" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at UNCA’s Kellogg Center, 11 Broyles Rd., Hendersonville. An open discussion will follow his talk.

The program is the fifth lecture in the 10-part series sponsored by the Institute for Applied Philosophy in conjunction with UNCA’s Philosophy Department. The series promotes better understanding of philosophy for the general public and explores some specific areas of philosophy at work in people’s lives. This series is open to the public. A donation of $5 will be suggested at the door.
