| For Immediate Release March 28, 2000 "Urbana" Exhibition Opens April 21 at UNCA's Owen Hall Second Floor Gallery An exhibition entitled "Urbana," featuring eight charcoal and marker drawings by UNCA senior Sam Powell, will be on view at UNCA’s Owen Hall's Second Floor Gallery April 21- May 2. The show is the culmination of Powell's work toward his bachelor of arts degree at UNCA. An opening reception will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, April 21, in the gallery, located on the second floor of Owen Hall. "Urbana" explores the cross between urban life and utopia. "This body of work reflects personalities within myself, as well as mere entertainment imagery depicted in what I call urban style," said Powell.
