UNCA Hosts Peace Corps Day Sept. 27

UNCA will host Peace Corps Day from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, in UNCA’s Karpen Hall lobby and Laurel Forum. The event is free and open to the public.

The event opens in the Karpen Hall lobby from 3-6 p.m. with more than a dozen exhibits by returned Peace Corps volunteers. Exhibitors and a Peace Corps recruiter will be on hand to answer questions and discuss items in the displays.

Peace Corps Day continues 7-9 p.m. in Laurel Forum with five formal slide presentations given by recently returned volunteers. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
