| For Immediate Release May 25, 2000 "Never No Light" Ceramics Exhibition Opens June 2 in University Gallery A ceramic and light exhibition entitled "Never No Light" by UNCA senior Kether Smith will be on view in the University Gallery June 2-20. The show is the culmination of Smith’s work toward her bachelor of fine arts degree at UNCA. An opening reception will be held from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 2, in the gallery, located on the first floor of Owen Hall. Influenced by Smith’s visit to an abandoned prison, the exhibition uses ceramic sculpture lit from within to create a metaphor for the body and the light of the soul.
