| For Immediate Release March 13, 2000 "Ethical Issues in Medicine" Lecture Series Continues on March 22 UNCA philosophy professor Melissa Burchard will continue the Ethical Issues in Medicine Lecture Series with a talk on "Brain Death and Policy Making" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at UNCA's Kellogg Center, 11 Broyles Rd., Hendersonville. An open discussion will follow her presentation. The program is the 10th lecture in the 12-part series sponsored by the Institute for Applied Philosophy in conjunction with UNCA's Philosophy Department. The series promotes a dialogue between the general public, health care providers and academic philosophers. This series is open to the public. A donation of $5 will be suggested at the door.
