UNCA’s Continuing Education Program Offers Up A Variety of Classes Beginning in January

UNCA’s continuing education non-credit short courses for the 2000 winter-spring season will provide the opportunity to explore Gothic fiction, classic horror films and herbal first aid beginning in January. The program, open to high school students and adults, allows participants to explore their interests through hands-on learning on the UNCA campus.

Languages are a special focus this year with courses offered in French, German, Greek, Italian, Russian, or Spanish, including Spanish for health care professionals.

New this session is a special lecture series about creating a better understanding of menopause.

Classes are taught by outstanding community professionals and UNCA faculty members.

Continuing education classes meet throughout the spring beginning in January. Courses are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fees vary. For an application or more information, call UNCA’s Special Academic Programs Office, 828/251-6558.
