To the families who had planned to join us for Family Weekend, 

While this is disappointing news, we believe that it is the most prudent decision given the present course of Hurricane Ivan.

I want to thank all who worked so hard on preparations for Family Weekend. Over 700 people had committed to join us -a record! We should all feel proud and look forward to a tremendous time next year!
