Banner Project Overview
UNC Asheville was a participant, along with 14 campuses in the UNC system, in a project to upgrade legacy administrative support software to Sungard Higher Education Banner ERP. Banner is a comprehensive, Oracle based computer information system that contains information on courses, students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Banner strengthens administrative services in five areas: Finance/Alumni and Development/Student Services/Human Resources and Financial Aid.
