UNC Asheville's campus construction
isn't just about buildings, it's about students and opportunity. The new buildings
provide state-of-the-art facilities in which UNC Asheville students can study
and become competitive in the 21st century world economy.
The Higher Education Bond Referendum is
providing much of the funding for these dramatic campus changes. In
2000, this voter-approved program appropriated $50.2 million toward
upgrading facilities at UNC Asheville. It is the single largest
capital project in the history of the University.
In addition, UNC Asheville is pursuing
several other building projects, which will be funded by state and
private donations. |
