Study

Courses with Jewish content are offered throughout UNC Asheville’s curriculum.  You can find Jewish studies courses offered in the following departments: Arts and Ideas, Classics, History, Literature and Language, and Religious Studies.  Courses taught regularly by UNC Asheville faculty and qualified adjuncts include Hebrew Language I and II, History of Judaism, Introduction to the Hebrew Bible, Modern Jewish Writers and The Holocaust and the Arts.  Other special topics courses in Jewish Studies are offered on occasion.
