A 2005 graduate, I
hold a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences, with a
concentration in weather forecasting. During my time at UNCA, I was
heavily involved with the admissions office and more specifically
the University Ambassadors program. I was chosen as the Ambassador
of the Year in 2005. While a student at UNCA, I was the lead
forecaster for the school's Weather Forecast Line, campus Radio
Station, "The Blue Echo" and the campus newspaper, "The Blue
Banner." Before joining the admissions team at UNC Asheville, I
spent time as the Chief Meteorologist at FOX-24 in Macon, Georgia
and as Radio Broadcast Meteorologist at The Weather Channel in
Atlanta, Georgia. After living in Georgia for three years, I
decided to drag my wonderful wife Kacey and our dog Abby back to the
mountains of western North Carolina. We are all excited to be back
in Asheville.
My goal as
assistant director of admissions is to convince you, which isn’t
hard, that UNC Asheville is the place for you! Please don’t
hesitate to get in touch with me regarding the admissions process at
UNC Asheville. I don’t mind talking about the weather either!
Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to talking with you soon.
